jades i do adoreee

Welcome back. I've returned after being sparse with my updates of my blog!!!! and to be fair, it was just because I was too tired/lazy to keep up with it. But now I've brought some art and speedpaints with me! 

been getting into drawing jade lately, I don't exactly know why either. I think it's cause I have a lot of fun doing her long ass afro, especially with my new way of sketching where I try to do a silhouette before I do any lines. This was actually the first time I tried it out since this was gonna be a davejade piece, but then I was like. nah. I  hate drawing dave. so now its just a jade piece.

I hate the fact that firealpaca speedpaints are gifs. so lame. but as you can see I went through a lot of changes on deciding what exactly to do with her. I was gonna make it davejade which is why you see that hint of orange for a split second, it was gonna be jadesprite which is why she was originally crying! so many ideas, so little time. But I like the final outcome I got.

hereee we have yet another jade. This was originally gonna be a roxy piece because I love drawing roxy but I had some issues with posing so. I gave up on that and decided to go for jade. I have veeeerrrrryyyyy mixed feelings on this one. but most of them can be dumbed down to "I wish I could go back in time and stop myself from pressing the undo button." I at least had fun with it, lot's of fun actually! but I wish I chose colors that weren't so eye straining.

and here's the finished product! I think it's alright. I wanted to try and twist it into somehow becoming a jaderoxy piece, but I think I'll hold off on that now LOL. For now, this is satisfactory and I might revisit it if I feel so inclined to. Its not a piece I wanna post on twitter or any of my other socials though, so I'll just leave it up on here for now.
